Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Galavant account and all associated cloud data at any time, directly in the app.
How to delete your account
- 1. Open the Galavant app.
- 2. Go to Settings → Account & Sync.
- 3. Tap Delete account.
- 4. Confirm by tapping Delete account in the dialog.
You must be signed in to delete your account. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
We permanently remove the following from our servers, immediately and with no retention period:
- Your Galavant+ account and sign-in credentials (email)
- All synced places on your bucket list
- All synced journal entries and their notes
- All photos you uploaded to the cloud
- All custom places you created, and your membership in any shared lists
What is kept
Galavant is local-first, so any data stored on your device (dreams, journal entries and photos) stays on that device after deletion — it is never sent to us again. To also remove it from your device, use Settings → Erase device data, or uninstall the app.
Can’t access the app?
Email support@merchase.app from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you within 30 days.
